Science week
We had great fun this week launching rocket mice. The children completed two tests; firstly with mice made from just paper. They then added features and other adornments to their mice and made predictions about what might happen in the test.
"I think the mice won't travel as far now because it's heavier." Sid.
"I think mine will go further because I've given it wings." Eden.

Welcome back to Term 4!
This term we are excited to be taking part in Project Touchline.
We had our first session this week, using Tag Rugby to promote our school value of Reconciliation. We had an amazing, but chilly, time and can't wait for next week!
If your child has joggers or leggings, please put them in their PE bags.

Maths properties of 2d and 3d shapes. We had to describe the properties of each shape for our friends to guess.

Basketball skills and drills

Geography - we have been identifying and locating continents and oceans.

In maths we have been learning about statistics. We have collected our own data and recorded the information in different charts. We are going to transfer this skill to help us in Science too!

In art we have been recreating works by Mark Rothko and Piet Mondrian.

Welcome back to Term 3! As you can see below we have just started learning some Yoga moves.
Today we added more detail to our masks and embellished them! We also talked about what we liked about each others masks and how we might improve them.
We designed our own carnival masks and began to make them!
We use concrete resources to deepen our understanding in maths.

We are having great fun developing our cricket skills!
